The Grace First Mission Team invites you to participate in our annual WALK for WATER on Saturday, June 1. Our purpose is to walk in solidarity with people in communities worldwide who lack access to safe drinking water and to raise funds to support the work of the Grace First Water Team. The Water Team partners with the international non-profit organization, Living Waters for the World. We work with communities in Perú without access to clean water to install and operate a sustainable water purification system and to provide health education in the community.

You can help by walking and seeking sponsors, or by sponsoring one of the Grace First walkers. Our goal is to raise $4000 for our next installation.

When: Saturday, June 1
9:00AM: Registration, orientation and prayer

9:15AM: Walk begins (approximately 2.5 miles)

How can I help? You can help by walking and/or seeking sponsors, or by sponsoring one of the Grace First walkers. Sponsors may give through our secure online giving on our website at https://www.gracefirst.org/online-giving. Click the GIVE ONLINE button which will take you to the secure portal provided by the Presbyterian Foundation. In this portal, you will see a special fund designated: "Clean Water Fund." Funds given here will go directly to the mission of our Clean Water Project.

Why "Walk for Water": People around the world who don't have water in their homes have to walk an average of 6 km (over 3.5 miles) to get their water. We walk because they walk.

Living Waters for the World (LWW) partners with communities to implement and operate sustainable water purification systems and health education programs. LWW Networks come alongside teams through every phase of a water project and provide essential support for sustainable water systems that produce healthy, safe, and clean drinking water for a generation.
